Hello lovelies,

We're sending out an SOS about our current financial situation. We are STILL waiting on liquor license news, and meanwhile this summer was probably the worst on record for event attendance. We also lost a lot more members than usual -- more than we gained in our member drive. In all, we lost about 30% of income over the summer, when even at previous levels we were barely covering bills. And we have a kitchen & dining room to build out in the next few months! We badly need your support, if you'd like this community & playhouse to keep existing.

If just 10% of this list signed up at the $5/mo level, or 20% of existing members went up a level, we could cover our expenses going forward. You can also do one-time donations through Venmo, PayPal, etc (in signature). And even if you can't help financially, you can invite friends into the club, and let them know that our magic Loft is available for private events, as well.

Halloween is just around the corner, and for us to bring you the usual glory, it takes serious budget. Help us get there! Our big annual kinky event also requires PALs, which means if you don't have a party buddy yet, you have a month from now to get to know our awesome humans, and see if you can develop a new connection.

9.11, 9.18, 9.25 - Every Wednesday: House of Scorpio Clubhouse. Whatever your membership level, you are invited to use our space as your own for the night...as your clubhouse. While classes & movie nights take place in the main space, the bar and lounge remain open 7pm-11pm (12am if enough people are lounging). Just like with regular events, if you're Friend level and above, you can bring up to two friends with you. Order in dinner, have a few drinks, run a friendly board game, or just read a book on the comfy couch. This is not a mixer -- just us opening our doors for our members. It's up to you how much you socialize, if at all, and with whom. Miss Scorpio will be there herself running the bar and her vintage, designer & statement clothing boutique, so come have a drink and play dress-up.

Although rope seems like the obvious choice of bondage medium to many, it is a very difficult medium for beginners to manipulate properly. This course will begin by introducing basic safety and tool concepts, before moving onto basic rope restraint techniques. These rope ties can be used decoratively and restrictively in a variety of positions, which can be customized to meet yours and your partners' physical abilities and sexual goals.

We get asked all the time how people can join HoS if they are shy, don't have like-minded friends, lack PALs for play parties, have no idea how this whole thing works, don't feel like jumping into sexy activity but want to connect to open-minded humans, etc. This party is the answer!

Calling all LGBTQIA+, poly, kink, swinger and other "alternative" dating/sex/gender-aligned humans and their allies.
